A tragic incident occurred in San Narciso, Quezon, when a private van crashed into houses along the San Narciso-Mulanay Road in Barangay Abuyon, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to two others. According to San Narciso police investigator S/Sgt. Marcelo Calibuso Jr., the victims were all family members who had gathered to celebrate the long weekend at Talisay Beach.
The accident took place on Saturday as the family returned home from their beach outing. Among the deceased were a married couple from Abuyon, who were identified as being part of the local community, and their brother-in-law from Pampanga, who was driving the van. The driver’s wife and another passenger were seriously injured and later taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
Witness accounts indicate that the van unexpectedly veered off the road, crashing into two houses adjacent to the roadway. The police are currently investigating to determine the exact cause of the accident.
