A Cebuano resident has claimed the P109,545,674.80 jackpot prize from the MegaLotto 6/49 drawn on February 23, 2025. The winning numbers were 40-34-32-26-21-12. This dedicated lottery player, who has been participating in both traditional sweepstakes and lotto games for 41 years, bought his winning ticket in Cebu City. He discovered his win when a lotto teller informed him that his numbers had already won.

Excited, he and his wife confirmed the win by checking their tickets. The winner plans to invest in expanding their family contracting business. To claim the jackpot, winners must present their original signed ticket and two valid IDs. A 20% tax applies to prizes over P10,000. Unclaimed prizes go to the PCSO Charity Fund. Lotto 6/42 draws occur every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM.
