The bodies of two pilots from the Philippine Air Force FA-50 fighter jet that crashed in Mt. Kalatungan, Bukidnon, have been recovered. Military officials confirmed the discovery after a beacon signal from the pilots led search and rescue teams to the site.
The remains were found just meters away from the crash site. A military ambulance was seen transporting the bodies to a funeral home in Cagayan de Oro City, though official confirmation is pending. Following the crash, 11 out of 12 FA-50 jets in the country have been grounded as a precaution. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
