PCSO Denies Data Breach Claims as Fake News

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has categorically denied recent claims circulating on social media regarding an alleged data breach involving the agency’s database. PCSO General Manager Mel Robles dismissed the reports as ‘fake news,’ asserting that there has been no successful hacking attempt on their systems. ‘There was no breach nor any successful attempt to hack the systems of PCSO,’ Robles stated on Friday. ‘We have not reported anything to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) because nothing has happened.’
