The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues its unwavering commitment to community welfare, recently extending much-needed support to residents of Barangay 602 in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
On February 12, 2025, PCSO Corporate Planning Department Manager Atty. Anna Liza P. Inciong personally handed over 300 emergency grab-and-go bags at the Sun Plaza Building in Mandaluyong City. This initiative is part of PCSO’s disaster preparedness efforts, aimed at equipping vulnerable communities with essential survival resources.
Barangay Chairperson Raymond Fajardo expressed heartfelt gratitude for the donation, emphasizing how critical these emergency bags are for families living near the river—who often face displacement due to monsoon rains and typhoons.
“Maraming Salamat po sa PCSO sa pagbibigay ng emergency bags para sa aming mga ka-barangay. Malaking tulong po ito sa amin lalo na tuwing bumabaha at kailangan naming lumikas. Alam naming hindi kami nag-iisa dahil ang PCSO ay hindi umuurong sa pagtulong,” he shared.
These lifesaving kits are designed for quick evacuations, ensuring that families have access to necessities when every second counts. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, PCSO reaffirms its dedication to helping Filipinos in times of crisis, proving once again that #PCSOHindiUmuurongSaPagtulong.
